100hr Yin Yoga
Teacher Training

September 8th - 23rd, 2024

at Ananda Resort, Ubud, Bali

About the Training

How does the ancient wisdom of Yoga & Self Inquiry translate tangibly into our practice of modern yoga asana?

And how can we integrate this wisdom off the mat & into our daily lives?

As we unravel that which is repressed and stuck in our bodymind, what are the practical tools to help us be with what arises and liberate us from suffering to Self Realization & Self Integration?

In this 100-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training , we meet these inquiries directly, drawing from the combined wisdom of traditional Hatha Yoga, Tradnal Chinese Medicine & Taoist Five Element Meridian Theory, the Embodied Mindfulness Meditation practices of Buddhism & Contemporary Fascial Science .

  • Learn how to release the deep tissue/ fascial trains of the body and create increased fluidity, suppleness, flexibility, & nourished healthy joints .

  • Learn how to influence the chi flow through the 12 primary meridian pathways of Traditional Chinese Medicine, fueling the 12 main organ systems with life force, influencing organ health &  optimizing physical vitality.

  • Learn how your body, mind & spirit are connected via these energy pathways, and discover how to meet and align the diverse dimensions of your being directly in your practice, influencing not only physical but mental, emotional & spiritual health.

  • Learn the specific therapeutic benefits of each yin asana & how to most effectively practice, sequence & teach classes for each of the organ systems.

  • Learn practical embodied mindfulness tools to meet the internal and external challenges of life, as gateways for transformation and integration..

This 2-week immersion offers a holistic map and practical pathway for potentialising embodied healing & integration within ourselves, and in turn, assists the development of direct teaching tools to support and guide our students.

This 100hr module, is a complete & thorough study unto itself, or may be a contributing module to the TNYT 500hr RYT Advanced Yoga Teacher Training Programme.

Nicola Jean Smith

Acupuncturist / Chinese Medicine Doctor

Nicola had her first experience with acupuncture at age 26. She knew at that moment she had found traditional Chinese Medicine as a healing art, and an Acupuncture Master in which to learn the subtle art of pulse diagnosis. Her fortuitous meeting with Ross Penman, of Bright Cottage Acupuncture in Sydney pivoted her from a young achieving corporate in Sydney to a humbled and dedicated student.

This fortuitous meeting offered clinical experience with a Master pulse diagnostician, learning his strategies of acupuncture as a treatment and appreciation of how the spirit is at the essence of true healing.

As a high-level intuitive, she is also trained in the Access Consciousness Bars and continues to study CranioSacral Therapy as a student. Her CranioSacral mentorship continues with The Yoga Barn, Adolf Brown.

She has consciously returned from two spiritual near-death experiences. Having experienced profound detoxing and healing from a variety of imbalances, she knows the first-hand recovery from modern related nervous system disorders and our capacity to activate the innate intelligence existing within us all to heal.

The spirit in healing and energy in her acupuncture treatments make for a subtle but potent approach to rebalancing, tonifying and supporting the body, mind, and soul.

Eva Joan Ritchie

Yoga Teacher

Eva Joan Ritchie is a yoga teacher, herbalist & body worker, & is passionate about the connection between body & mind & their affect upon each other. Eva has been practicing Yoga for the last 25 years & teaching since 2013.

Eva’s approach to life and healing stems from her belief that we are all made up of many layers: physical, emotional, mental and energetic – which all need to be communicating to each other harmoniously, so we can live conscious & healthy lives.

“I never tire of how profound an effect Yoga can have on people's lives, by allowing & fostering connection between body & mind. I am constantly amazed by the infinite intelligence of the body & its innate capacity for balance & healing.”

Throughout the years, Eva has had the privilege to learn from wonderful teachers such as Kristen Boddington, Glenn Ceresoli, Simon Borg-Olivier and Bianca Machliss of Yoga Synergy, Sarah Powers and Tina Nance.
